Xamarin: Hot Restart

Windows 10 + USB/iPhone cable + iPhone works.

Context : Wouldn’t it be great to not use Mac OS and XCode to test app?

Create new app

I named it App2, what will be a problem later.

Setup iOS as startup project and run

PC restart

Plug in iPhone and start iTunes

Sign in with Apple Developer account.

Login to apple Id

Naming Application App2 was not smart, bblonski2.sample.com, hit run.

Click the button and it Works app !!

XAML Hot Reload works, Debuging and Immediate Window works.

Summary:

You still have to be Apple developer an pay apple for Apple Id and have proper rights but it amazing that no mac is required, that is:

Windows 10 + USB/iPhone + iPhone works.
